confirmation
This Sacrament is a step toward a deeper knowledge and appreciation of Jesus Christ and the Church. It is also the final step of initiation into the Catholic Church. Due to the importance of this step, it is required that a teen has completed two years of high school faith formation prior to entering direct preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation.
We do not assume all teens enrolled in high school faith formation will wish to be confirmed. There are specific requirements that must be met to be confirmed and these are explained at the time a teen expresses the desire to start preparation to receive the Sacrament.
For more details on direct preparation for the Sacrament see Chosen4: Confirmation under Senior High Faith Formation.
